Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Trinity Basin Systems (“TBS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the EyeSRCam Android application (“EyeSRCam” or the “App”), the Trinity Basin Systems website, and support or privacy communications. This policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, devices, camera hardware, mobile carriers, operating-system providers, app stores, or services that we do not control.

2. Information accessed and processed by EyeSRCam

Depending on the features the operator chooses to use and the permissions the operator grants, EyeSRCam may access or process the following information on the device:

• Camera and imaging data: live imagery from a device camera or compatible USB-connected camera, used to display the selected visual or thermal feed.
• Foreground location: approximate or precise device location, used while the App is operating to display location and support operator-requested situational-awareness, range, bearing, targeting, or calibration functions.
• Device and sensor information: device orientation or heading, battery level, and available signal-strength information, used to populate the on-screen heads-up display.
• Screen recordings: video recordings created only when the operator initiates Android's screen-capture process. Recordings are saved in App-specific storage on the device. The current version does not record microphone audio.
• Local preferences and file references: limited settings and a reference to the most recent App recording, stored locally so selected App functions work as expected.

EyeSRCam does not request background-location permission. Permission choices can be changed through Android settings, although denying a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

3. What EyeSRCam does not collect

The current version of EyeSRCam does not create a TBS user account, contain advertising or analytics, or transmit camera feeds, location, sensor readings, targeting information, or recordings to TBS servers. TBS does not sell App data or use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Operator-controlled recording and sharing

Recordings remain on the device unless the operator intentionally uses the export function. Export uses Android's system sharing interface and transfers the selected recording to the application, person, account, or service chosen by the operator. That recipient's privacy practices and terms govern the exported copy. Operators are responsible for having the authority and consent required to record, retain, or share imagery and mission information.

5. Third-party components and device services

EyeSRCam relies on Android, Google Play services for device-location functionality, compatible camera drivers or hardware, and open-source software components. Those providers may process information independently under their own terms and privacy policies. TBS does not control information handled independently by a device manufacturer, operating-system provider, app store, mobile carrier, hardware manufacturer, or export destination.

6. Website and support information

This website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral analytics. As with most websites, the hosting or network provider may automatically process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the site.

If a person contacts TBS, we may receive the name, email address, organization, device or App details, diagnostic information, screenshots, and message content that person chooses to provide. Do not send confidential, classified, legally restricted, or sensitive mission information unless it is necessary, authorized, and requested through an appropriate channel.

7. How TBS uses information it receives

• To respond to support, privacy, accessibility, or business communications.
• To diagnose reported problems and maintain the security and reliability of the App and website.
• To improve EyeSRCam using feedback or diagnostic material voluntarily provided to us.
• To establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; protect users, TBS, or others; and comply with applicable law.

8. Disclosure of information received by TBS

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information a person submits to TBS: (a) to vendors that provide hosting, email, security, professional, or technical services subject to appropriate obligations; (b) when the person directs or authorizes the disclosure; (c) when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; (d) to protect safety, security, rights, or property; or (e) in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

9. Retention and deletion

App content stored locally remains under the operator's control and is retained until the operator deletes it, clears App storage, or removes the App, subject to Android, device-backup, and export-destination behavior. Because the current App does not upload this content to TBS, TBS cannot retrieve or delete a copy that exists only on a user's device or with a third party selected by the user.

Support and business communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose received and for security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information submitted directly to TBS, follow the instructions on our Support & Contact page. We may verify the request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

10. Privacy rights and choices

Depending on where a person resides and subject to applicable exceptions, that person may have rights concerning personal information held by TBS, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy, and to appeal a denied request. TBS will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. Because TBS does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out required for the current App. Requests may be submitted through our Support & Contact page. If we deny a qualifying request, our response will explain any available appeal process. An appeal may be submitted by replying to that response or by emailing us with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal,” and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of information we receive. No device, transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure. Operators should secure their devices, accounts, exported files, and mission information and should not use EyeSRCam to handle information for which their device and procedures are not approved.

12. Children's privacy

EyeSRCam is intended for professional and operational users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to TBS, contact us so we can review and address the request.

13. International use

TBS is based in the United States. Information voluntarily submitted to TBS may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our service providers, subject to applicable law. Users are responsible for determining whether use of the App and transfer of any exported information is lawful in their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in EyeSRCam, our practices, or legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
